This crust combines non-GMO organic corn meal and spelt, with extra virgin olive oil to create a distinctively rich taste and texture. Spelt, also known as 'Farro', is an ancient form of wheat which is suitable for many with wheat allergies. It contains more protein, minerals, amino acids, B-vitamins, essential fatty acids, and fiber than wheat. Its nutrients are more easily absorbed by the body because of its high water solubility.
